LESSON: Penmanship/Memory
Verse
RESOURCES:
Bible, Handwriting chart, and paper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Refer to the key scripture verses section of the scope and sequence :
language arts for this week's penmanship/memory verse. Locate the key scripture verses in
your Bible and underline them with a colored pencil or highlighter.
2. Write the key scripture verses and the reference for this
week's Bible lesson unto lined paper. Check your work for copying or dictation
mistakes.
3. Memorize these key scripture verses for this week's lesson. Memorize
at least one verse at a time, always reviewing the previous ones you have learned. Use
rhythm, hand motions, or picture associations to memorize verses. Have someone check to see if you know them.
Note: You will use the written key scripture verse for your English and Spelling lesson each week.
