Phonics

We have created a wholistic reading program in which the student will:

-sound out (decode) and phonetically spell the word.

-write the word in print.

-use the word in context.

-know the phonetic rules to use with each word.

-read the word.

-recognize and identify word families.

-do reading skills such as recall, sequencing, critical thinking, etc.
